Solo cello performances in this capacity have a number of advantages. One
is that the general ambience of a string group can be created, however at
a fraction of the cost. Another is the simplicity and malleability of having
a single performer. Repertoire, mood, timing, location can all be adjusted
immediately according to the situation as it unfolds. With a broad range
of material as illustrated above, plus improvisational ability, there is
enough versatility and variety in the act to suit many different occasions
and clientele.
"You did an amazing job at the wedding. When I first
heard Pachelbel, my eyes started to tear...Thanks again Corbin, for everything,
you added a very special element to the day."
- Megan & Donny, Seattle, WA
“Our wedding day was the best day ever and you certainly added
fantastic style to complete it. Your cello playing was the icing on the
wedding cake - our guests agree. You're a musician and artist in your style,
look and sound. We will recommend you to our friends! Thank you so much.”
